How an international transfer through Globe_EX works

We go through the process step by step — from the first message to a manager to the confirmation that the recipient has collected the money. Along the way we explain where the rate on the site comes from, at which moment it stops moving and what can be cancelled.

How an international transfer through Globe_EX works

In short: what happens after your message

The whole path takes four steps, and on the first two you pay nothing. The money is handed over only after the final amount has been named and the rate locked.

  • You write the amount and the destination — the manager answers with a calculation
  • The rate is locked and the final amount to be received stops changing
  • You hand over the funds in whatever way suits you
  • The recipient collects the money and we send the confirmation

Step 1. The request

You message a manager on Telegram, WhatsApp or MAX and give the amount, the currency and the destination. At this stage nothing has to be paid and no documents are needed — it is simply a question about the terms.

If you have already worked out the amount in the calculator on the site, name it: the manager will see the same number. The calculator and the manager work from one and the same reference of rates, not from different ones.

Step 2. The calculation and locking the rate

The manager counts the amount with the 1% fee and locks the rate. From that moment the final amount to be received does not change — whatever the market does while the transfer is in progress.

This is the key moment of the whole deal. A service that names a fee percentage but not the final amount is in effect passing the currency risk on to you: how much the recipient gets becomes known only once the money has arrived.

Step 3. The transfer

Once everything is agreed we carry out the transfer by the chosen option. Most operations take from 15 minutes; on some destinations the timing is longer, and the manager warns about it in advance rather than after the fact.

The way of handing over the funds is up to you: a transfer to an account, cash at an office or cryptocurrency. It affects the timing but not the fee.

Step 4. The confirmation

The recipient collects the funds at an office or gets them to an account. We send a confirmation of the delivery — the deal is considered closed only after it, not after you have handed over the money.

The confirmation is not a formality. It is the only thing that separates the transfer has been sent from the transfer has been received, and the difference between those two states is exactly what you are paying for.

Where the rate on the site comes from

The rate is neither typed in by hand nor invented. Fiat currencies come from the official rates of the Central Bank of Russia, cryptocurrency from an exchange where it actually trades.

It is refreshed three times a day: at 09:00, 14:00 and 19:00 Moscow time. Between those points the figure does not change, and that is deliberate — a person who started the calculation at 17:45 and the manager arranging the transfer at 18:30 have to see the same number.

What can be cancelled and when

Before the money is sent the transfer can be stopped with no consequences: nothing has happened and no obligations have arisen. After sending, what can be done depends on the stage the payment is at — and here what matters is how quickly you tell the manager.

  • Before the funds are handed over — cancelled instantly, with no need to explain why
  • After handing over, before sending — we stop it and return the funds
  • After sending — it depends on the option and the stage; write to the manager who arranged the request

What we do not do

An honest list of what we do not have saves more time than a long list of advantages.

  • We do not hold your money

We have no accounts with balances. The funds pass through the deal and go to the recipient rather than sitting with us.

  • We do not charge for urgency

The 1% fee is the same whether the transfer is needed today or during the week.

  • We do not name a timing we do not know

If a destination has delays, the manager says so before payment rather than after.

Common questions

Does anything have to be paid before the calculation?

No. The first two steps — the request and the calculation — are free and commit you to nothing. The funds are handed over only after the final amount to be received has been named and the rate locked.

Why does the rate on the site differ from the one in a search engine?

Search results show the interbank rate, at which no exchange service works. Our rate comes from the official Central Bank rates and from an exchange and is refreshed three times a day.

What happens if the rate moves while the transfer is in progress?

Nothing. Once locked, the amount to be received is not recalculated — that is the point of locking it.

Which documents are needed?

For the calculation, none. What is needed for the operation itself depends on the destination and on the way the money is collected; the manager says so before payment.

Can a transfer be sent on a weekend?

Yes, but the timing depends on the option: routes through cryptocurrency and national instant payment systems work on weekends, bank transfers do not.

How do I get back to the same manager?

Write in the same chat where the request was arranged. The history of the conversation is itself the record of the agreed terms.
