Why people send money to Spain
Money is sent to Spain to rent and maintain a home, to pay for studies and to live there during a long stay. Spanish banks support instant SEPA payments, so the money reaches a local IBAN in minutes.
Money goes to Spain for housing and tuition — this is a destination for long stays rather than short trips. Rent, utilities and school are paid from a local account every month, and a Russian card is not accepted in the country. The large Spanish banks support instant SEPA, so euros reach a local IBAN within minutes on any day of the week. An account is opened for the recipient against an NIE number — that does not affect the transfer itself, but without an account there is nowhere to deliver.
-
Rent and running a home
Rent, utilities, comunidad fees and insurance. The payments are tied to a date, and instant delivery removes the risk of being late.
-
Tuition
Universities, international schools and language courses invoice in euros. We send to the institution's details or to your Spanish account.
-
Living during a long stay
Wintering, residence permits, moving with the family: costs are counted in euros while income stays in rubles. One transfer covers the monthly budget.
-
Paying contractors
Renovation, home maintenance, lawyers and accountants. We check the recipient details before sending.
-
Buying property
A deposit and settlement on the deal. The amount is not limited on our side, and the payment purpose is agreed in advance.
-
Exchanging rubles and USDT for euros
Swapping rubles, dollars or USDT for euros — the rate is locked before payment.
What you can send to Spain
-
In rubles from a Russian account
An ordinary transfer from a card or an account with a Russian bank, SBP included. We handle the conversion into the recipient's currency and name the rate before payment.
-
In dollars or euros
If you already hold the currency, we send it without an extra conversion: fewer steps means less lost on the rate.
-
In cryptocurrency
We accept USDT and other coins — the full list is in the calculator above. The recipient gets ordinary currency to their account, and the conversion rate is locked before payment.
-
In cash at an office
You can hand the money over at any of our offices — the cities are listed on the Contacts page.
Timing, fee and limits
-
Delivery time
From 15 minutes to one business day — it depends on the receiving bank and on the type of SEPA transfer.
-
Fee
A flat 1% fee on the transfer amount, whatever the destination and whatever the volume.
-
Limits
We set no limits of our own. Limits are set by the receiving bank in Spain: usually a limit on a single instant payment and daily limits on the account.
Where the money arrives in Spain
-
Bizum — in minutes
Bizum is the national instant payment system: the money goes to a phone number linked to a local account and arrives around the clock, weekends included. No account details are needed.
-
A bank account
Delivery to the recipient's own account: Santander, BBVA, CaixaBank, Sabadell and any other bank in the country. The payment runs through SEPA and SEPA Instant; you need the name in Latin letters and the IBAN.
-
A local bank card
Delivery to a card issued by a bank in the recipient's country: VISA, Mastercard. You need the card number and the cardholder's name.
-
A company account
Paying a company invoice: delivery to a corporate account by bank details. We work under a contract signed by both sides — you as the sender and us as the provider. The payment purpose is agreed before sending.
-
A wallet or a multi-currency account
Revolut, Wise, N26. Good for smaller amounts and for recipients without a local bank account: wallets have their own limits on incoming payments and on the balance.
-
A local transfer inside the country
The sender and the recipient are in the same country: the money goes by local bank details, without crossing a border and without a currency conversion. It covers rent, tuition and services while you do not yet have an account with a local bank.
