Why people send money to the Czech Republic

Money is sent to the Czech Republic to pay for tuition and rent, to live there after moving and to settle with contractors. The money arrives to a Czech account in korunas or euros, and our office works in Prague.

The Czech Republic is a destination of study and relocation: people come here to study and to work, and the costs stay in korunas. The country kept its own currency, so money reaches a koruna account in CZK and the recipient needs no second conversion. Russian cards are not accepted here. For student visas the bank sometimes asks for a payment purpose stating the reason — the manager agrees the wording with you before sending. Our Prague office hands out cash.

  • Tuition

Universities and language schools invoice in korunas, and for a visa a confirmed payment matters. We send to the institution's details or to the student's account.

  • Renting a home

A deposit, the monthly payment and utilities. Delivery is made in korunas, with no second conversion on the recipient's side.

  • Life after the move

The first months in a new place: insurance, transport, everyday costs, school for the children.

  • Paying contractors

Paying local providers and Czech companies, including to a corporate account.

  • Cash korunas in Prague

Cash is available on this destination at our office — agree the amount and the time of your visit with a manager in advance.

  • Exchanging rubles and USDT for korunas

Swapping rubles, dollars or USDT for CZK at a rate locked before payment.

What you can send to the Czech Republic

  • In rubles from a Russian account

An ordinary transfer from a card or an account with a Russian bank, SBP included. We handle the conversion into the recipient's currency and name the rate before payment.

  • In dollars or euros

If you already hold the currency, we send it without an extra conversion: fewer steps means less lost on the rate.

  • In cryptocurrency

We accept USDT and other coins — the full list is in the calculator above. The recipient gets ordinary currency to their account, and the conversion rate is locked before payment.

  • In cash at an office

You can hand the money over at any of our offices — the cities are listed on the Contacts page.

Timing, fee and limits

  • Delivery time

From 15 minutes to one business day — it depends on the receiving bank and on the currency of delivery.

  • Fee

A flat 1% fee on the transfer amount, whatever the destination and whatever the volume.

  • Limits

We set no limits of our own. Limits are set by the receiving bank in the Czech Republic. Student and newly opened accounts may have lower limits on incoming amounts.

Where the money arrives in the Czech Republic

  • A bank account

Delivery to the recipient's own account: ČSOB, Komerční banka, Česká spořitelna, Raiffeisenbank and any other bank in the country. You need the name in Latin letters and the IBAN.

  • A local bank card

Delivery to a card issued by a bank in the recipient's country: VISA, Mastercard. You need the card number and the cardholder's name.

  • A company account

Paying a company invoice: delivery to a corporate account by bank details. We work under a contract signed by both sides — you as the sender and us as the provider. The payment purpose is agreed before sending.

  • A local transfer inside the country

The sender and the recipient are in the same country: the money goes by local bank details, without crossing a border and without a currency conversion. It covers rent, tuition and services while you do not yet have an account with a local bank.

What to know about transfers to the Czech Republic

  • Korunas, not euros
