Why people send money to Japan

Money is sent to Japan to pay for studies and rent, to support students and to settle contracts. The money arrives to an account with a Japanese bank in yen; we name the final amount before you pay for the transfer.

Japan is a destination of students and contracts. Costs here are counted in yen, and bank details are arranged differently from Europe: you need the bank name, the branch number, the account type and number, and the recipient's name written in Latin letters or katakana. Russian cards do not work in the country. Transfers are processed on business days in Japanese time, so the time difference can add a few hours to the delivery — the manager names the exact timing before payment.

  • Tuition

Language schools and universities invoice in yen with a hard deadline. We send to the institution's bank details.

  • Renting a home

A deposit, key money and the monthly payment — the opening payment on a Japanese lease is usually large. The amount is not limited on our side.

  • Supporting students

Regular transfers for living costs: transport, insurance, everyday expenses.

  • Contract payments

Paying Japanese companies and specialists — to a corporate account, with an agreed payment purpose.

  • Living costs after the move

The first months in a new place: furniture, a phone contract, insurance, school for the children.

  • Exchanging rubles and USDT for yen

Swapping rubles, dollars or USDT for JPY at a rate locked before payment.

What you can send to Japan

  • In rubles from a Russian account

An ordinary transfer from a card or an account with a Russian bank, SBP included. We handle the conversion into the recipient's currency and name the rate before payment.

  • In dollars or euros

If you already hold the currency, we send it without an extra conversion: fewer steps means less lost on the rate.

  • In cryptocurrency

We accept USDT and other coins — the full list is in the calculator above. The recipient gets ordinary currency to their account, and the conversion rate is locked before payment.

  • In cash at an office

You can hand the money over at any of our offices — the cities are listed on the Contacts page.

Timing, fee and limits

  • Delivery time

From 15 minutes to one business day. Japanese banks process transfers on business days in local time.

  • Fee

A flat 1% fee on the transfer amount, whatever the destination and whatever the volume.

  • Limits

We set no limits of our own. Limits are set by the receiving bank. For large amounts a Japanese bank may ask for an explanation of the purpose of the payment.

Where the money arrives in Japan

  • A bank account

Delivery to the recipient's own account: MUFG, SMBC, Mizuho, Japan Post Bank and any other bank in the country. The payment runs through Zengin; you need the name in Latin letters, the branch number and the account number.

  • A local bank card

Delivery to a card issued by a bank in the recipient's country: VISA, Mastercard, JCB. You need the card number and the cardholder's name.

  • A company account

Paying a company invoice: delivery to a corporate account by bank details. We work under a contract signed by both sides — you as the sender and us as the provider. The payment purpose is agreed before sending.

  • A local transfer inside the country

The sender and the recipient are in the same country: the money goes by local bank details, without crossing a border and without a currency conversion. It covers rent, tuition and services while you do not yet have an account with a local bank.
